I earned a Bachelor of Design from OCAD University’s Environmental Design Program leading me to study Architecture, Landscape, Structural Design and Interior Design in Toronto, Los Angeles, Rome and Florence. I am passionate, intuitive and personally driven when it comes to complex challenges, especially those with considerable depth and ever-changing requirements. I have a broad skill set, strong research abilities to complete a range of demands, and am energized by working as a member of a team. Hand and digital model making are strengths of mine along with AutoCAD, Rhino and Illustrator. I was introduced to the performing arts when I was eight through the family 40+ year business of professional magical entertainment. Through this experience, I have worked onstage as a magician’s assistant and then backstage managing props, lighting, sound and animal control (doves, rabbits – even once a tiger). It was here that I learned to appreciate and respect the many different talents required to make ‘magic happen’ for the audience. My future goals are to create this ‘magical experience’ that people enjoy seeing on the screen. I have been very focused in working towards this and am looking for opportunities to continue to grow within this captivating world.
